KELVANO LED downlights come in two formats for commercial interiors: fixed recessed (THD series) for general lighting and adjustable gimbal (XBD series) for accent and wall-washing. Recessed sizes run 12–55 W with cut-outs from Ø75 to Ø220 mm, gimbals 12–50 W, all at Ra 80 standard and Ra 90 available, non-dimming or with Bluetooth Mesh control. For UK projects, BS 476 fire-rated versions restore the fire barrier of a rated ceiling. Measured IES files are available on request for core SKUs, Orders run from 50 units to full rollouts, and quotations are returned in 48 hours.

Three recessed series cover general lighting, budget rollouts and aimable accent. All are IP20, Ra ≥ 80 standard with Ra ≥ 90 available, in 3000K / 4000K / 5000K, and each is available non-dimming or with Bluetooth Mesh control.

Recessed or gimbal: which to specify
- THD recessed — fixed, straight-down. The general-lighting layer for hotel rooms, corridors, offices and retail floors. Specify by cut-out size and lumen output to hit the target lux at your ceiling height.
- XBD gimbal — tilts and rotates. Aim it at a wall, a product display or a feature; use it where the ceiling grid does not line up with what needs lighting. Pair with Ra 90 for fashion, food and hospitality.

Bluetooth Mesh control
Every series is available with a Bluetooth Mesh module built into the fitting. Fixtures form their own wireless network and are grouped, dimmed and scene-set from a phone app, a handheld remote or a wall panel, with no control cable and no DALI bus. For retail rollouts and refits, that removes the most expensive part of adding lighting control. Specify Bluetooth Mesh or non-dimming per SKU on your RFQ.
Fire-rated downlights for UK projects
When a downlight is cut into a fire-rated ceiling, the hole breaks the ceiling’s fire barrier. A BS 476 fire-rated downlight is built to restore that barrier for the ceiling’s rated period. We supply fire-rated versions across the range; state the ceiling rating (30, 60 or 90 minutes) on your RFQ and we quote the matching SKU. This is a regulatory requirement on most UK commercial and residential-block projects, not an upgrade.
